You can only repair within the damage range and ship class of your mates (cummulative). Skil: Repairs damages from low as 30 % up to 94 % with a certain speed (up to 9.9). The more carpenters you have, the bigger and faster are the single steps of reperation. CannoneerIncreases weapon skill and sometimes fencing skill. Increases the canon range and firepower. Skill: adds up to 7 points to weapon skill MerchantIncreases trading skill and thereby allows you higher selling prices for ships (in the shipyard). Has no influence to prices of goods (sadly but true). Skill: adds up to 7 points to trading skill (not cummulative) SoldierIncreases fighting skill, sometimes weapon skill as well. Increases crew moral when boarding ships. Decreases likelyhood that prisenors may escape. Skill: adds up to 7 points to fencing skill FisherFishes and produces food while on sea. Skill: Fishing without sailing: max 14 CookIncreases crew moral while on sea (cummulative) .Skill: Can increase crew moral on sea by up to 4.9 points. The more crew, the more cooks you need.
